WOTF Vol. 30, Q2 Honorable Mention

I received an honorable mention in the second quarter of Writers of the Future this year. My certificate came in the mail today, and it’s really pretty.

The contest is open to new authors that haven’t been professionally published before and runs four quarters or four rounds a year. There is also an illustrators contest that accompanies the writing contest. It’s free to enter, the forums are great, and the people running the contest are really nice. It’s a quality contest for new writers (and illustrators) and I’ve had a really good experience so far. I’ve submitted to the third quarter, for those following my writing adventures, and I’m preparing my next story to submit fourth quarter. I highly recommend entering.

You can check out all of the results for the second quarter awardees, including winners, finalists, semi-finalists, and honorable mentions here: http://www.writersofthefuture.com/node/746.
