I will be attending the Salt Lake Comic Convention FanXperience this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 17th-19th in Salt Lake City. I’m not on panels, but I will be sharing a little bit of booth space with the awesome Dave Butler, where you can pick up paperback copies of my stories Maladaptive Bind and Blood Oath: An Orc Love Story along with Orc Love greeting cards like the ones I sold at LTUE. There will also be books by a number of cool authors at that table, so come check it out. If you’re planning on going to FanX, come find me and my awesome friends at booth R5!

Other summer plans include attendeing Westercon67, where I will definitely have booth space, selling books. I’m still looking into participating on panels at Westercon, but so far I’ve not heard back from the people I’ve tried to contact about programming so I’m not sure at this point how likely it is that I’ll be on panels there. We’ll see.

I’m also thinking about attending the Salt City Steamfest. That would be a new event for me, and I’m curious to check it out. Seeing how my general life schedule goes. I also have a steampunk short story/novella involving paleontology and time travel that’s slow-cooking on one of my back burners right now while I work through the beginning my next novel, and if I manage to finish the steampunk in time I’d love to bring it to this event.
