I was talking some pictures of my family’s apple trees yesterday because I wanted to play around with a Photoshop phone app I’ve recently been trying out. I was able to capture some really great shots with the sun showing through as an orb, and I decided I needed to write a poem to go with this beautiful picture. (I also used the Affinity Designer app on my computer to place the text and border).

My family has been fortune to be healthy and have work during this time, but I know others are struggling in various ways. The pandemic has impacted everyone differently, and I do know what it’s like from other experiences in my life to feel frustrated about progressing. Whatever your circumstances are, I hope you feel loved and maybe somewhat understood. Please enjoy this poem as I try to capture the many feelings I’ve observed around me. #poetry #COVID19
